The history of this estate covers a long wine tradition dating from 1692 according to known family archives and perhaps even older because the village has been making wine since 879. It is Elisabeth Van der Bent who runs this estate with all her knowledge resulting from transmission, wines firmly anchored in family tradition.
It is always her centenarian mother who gives the impetus and the spirit of the work which has been done for generations without interruption, she says “my daughter makes me the wines of my ancestors, old Burgundian style wine”. A fine, light wine that can be opened 20 years later with emotion and a patina of flavors from this beautiful terroir which has no equal anywhere else. This sums up the spirit of this house very well...
