Domaine Combier

Isere Bridge

Les Racines des Combier dates back to 1936. Camille, Laurent's grandfather, bought a property with 3 hectares of vines and 4 hectares of apricot trees. From 1970, they are visionaries and invest as much as possible for a healthy and organic culture in this polyculture that is often found in the Rhone Valley. Pioneers in the field… In 1990, Laurent Combier, accompanied by his wife Ghislaine, took over the estate which then had 5 hectares of vines and 15 hectares of fruit trees. 25 years later, David and Julien bring together the energy, dynamism and passion of their father. The estate is family-run.

So after 50 years of organic farming, the passion for living continues. In 1999, the concrete eggs of Marc Nomblot enter the cellar, the concrete vats will follow and wood remains a historical material for the aging of their wine. The estate is changing, less arboriculture always more nature, mass selection, lunar calendar, for them “It is Nature that governs each gesture and not the reverse”.
