Three generations have succeeded one another at the Lebreuil estate since 1935. Initially, Paul owned a few vineyards. In 1958, it was his son Pierre who stopped his studies to come and work on the family estate. From 1965 Pierre and his wife Odile devoted themselves entirely to the estate and it entered a phase of transition and development. Finally in 1999, Jean-Baptiste Lebreuil came to work on the farm and moved in with his parents. To finish in 2009 with 13 hectares in the villages of Savigny, Aloxe-Corton, Pommard, Volnay and Ladoix-Serrigny.
Sustainable cultivation is the method used on the estate to respect nature and produce high quality wines. Since 2012, use of biodynamic principles in growing practices to obtain healthy and natural grapes. The pruning of the vine is obviously manual. The work of the soil is reasoned and even since 2021 the installation of a controlled plant cover in the row so as not to leave the soil bare during the summer period.
In both white and red, they seek to produce typically Burgundian wines with great respect for the terroir, the grape variety and the appellation.
