Marc Sorrel is a discreet winemaker, who produces sumptuous Hermitage. You know, those wines so soft and fine in their youth and yet with an impressive aging capacity. Marc Sorrel owns 4 ha of the famous hill, extremely well oriented and particularly renowned plots. He vinifies with immense know-how and experience. The result: wines of a very high standard. It was Guillaume who took over the torch with the 2019 vintage, after having patiently learned alongside his father. The production of the estate is very simple: a "normal" wine and a "grande cuvée" for each color. The volumes produced are extremely small: around 1,500 bottles for each white cuvée, and 3 to 4,000 bottles for the two red cuvées. from a blend of the two best plots of the estate: Les Greffieux and Méal (hence the name of the cuvée: "le Gréal").
